Since we got Sasha, our living room carpet has really started to show some signs of wear and tear. I hate to admit it, because when we got the house less than a year ago the carpet looked great, but it’s true. I have been looking around online for some good places to get it cleaned, and stumbled upon Ladybug steam cleaners, which might be an option for us right now. I need to go get my day started, but I have definitely bookmarked their web site to review with Zach later this evening.

I am getting ready to head out of the house to go to the post office, because I need to send out a few pieces of art that people on on eBay, and then I need to pick up something to eat since I am absolutely starving. After that, it’s a long day of photo editing and then this evening helping Zach paint cabinets. Fun, fun! I also need to finish the freelance piece that I need to write for the viewsonic monitor from Buy.com. I’ve been finding so many great deals on Buy.com recently, by the way.

I am getting so tired of hearing about celebrities who are heading for detox or rehab. Seriously, get your stuff together people! I know that getting help is important, and that rehab can really help people with problems, but you have to give it some effort. Speaking of a different kind of detox, I just saw an interesting commercial for Orovo detox. Looks like a pretty interesting product. I have always wanted to try one of those detox programs to cleanse my body of all the bad stuff. I need to give it some serious thought.

I admit it, I am a huge fan of the Oprah Winfrey show, and I tune in every day after work at 4:00 p.m. to find out what interesting topic she is covering. Often, she talks about great books of course, and one of those books is A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose. I don’t know about you, but I could certainly stand to have someone help me find what my life’s purpose is, because for the life of me I can’t seem to figure it out on my own! Seriously, though, I always love Oprah’s book finds and I am sure that this one is no exception.

It’s so completely frustrating to me that companies are not offering good medical insurance options to their employees these days. I have even looked into getting medical insurance on my own recently, and I’m finding that it may not be as expensive as I had previously assumed. 2Insure4Less.com is a good example of a site where you can compare different insurance programs and rates. I suggest you try it if you need medical insurance too.

Seems like the only thing on television late at night are infomercials for acne treatments. Makes me wonder if any of those acne treatments could really work for me? My skin isn’t terribly bad, but I do have breakouts here and there that are really annoying. I think that I am going to check out a few of these web sites for acne treatments to see if I can find anything interesting.

My main goal this week is taking time to do some online shopping and research for some good pillows, because the pillows that we are using now are causing me to wake up every morning with a horrible neck and back ache, and that’s just simply not acceptable! We’ve had the same pillows for far too long, and I am sure that they were purchased from a cheap store because I never invest any money in things like that. Lesson learned!

How wonderful would it be to own some oceanfront property? I have some friends who recently purchased a beautiful place near the beach in Florida, and they are incredibly excited to be going for their first vacation to the home in a couple of months. I could use a vacation so bad right now. It’s starting to get warm in this area, however, we have no beach! It’s been so long since I had a nice vacation; I really think that it is time.

So, with my photography business, I have been trying to get a logo design together for a few weeks now. It’s amazing how time consuming something like this can be. In fact, I have even considered hiring someone to do the design for me to save myself the time and headache. One great company that I have been considering is LogoYes.com. Their design services look really fantastic from what I can tell on their Web site, so I think it’s a definite possibility. I really need to prioritize my work so that I can focus on the important parts of my business, which are shooting and serving clients.

I am not sure if I have mentioned it here yet or not, but we have been remodeling our kitchen over the past couple of weeks. I have been shopping online for a new faucet for the kitchen, and I found a few great sites with bar faucets and such that I have been considering buying from. Of course, we have so many other things to buy that I really have to decide where I want to spend our money right now, because everything is just so expensive.
